MY EMAIL GOT DELETED

so i started sending an awesome letter and everything got deleted...i am so sorry but i am running out of time.

Basically what this week withouft having an umbrella i got poured on when it rained.

We had some really good lessons with families that are part member and they were awesome! it really felt good to be teaching again! we have found someone who is  suffering from loss a mobility his right arm and leg and he really is upset about it and we are trying to comfort him and develop faith in Christ as he seems to have loss faith.

We also taught another family the Enogacio family and they were so nice and very interested to have their knoweldge added to

we also have another investigator Jaycee who wants to be a member but has a word of wisdom problem but he seems to be a good person with desires to improve. he wen to church last sunday and he also had us eat chicken heads that were barbecued! it was disgusting not only having to once but twice slurp from the back of the head i think what was brain tissue and eat the brain and eat the skin and other tissue like where the eye is. it was horrible i am just glad i had some lemonade to wash it down!

I just called as a district leader and will be serving missionaries in my area and i am so excited i also have a new companion elder kauffman and i am so excited for this next transfer and the success to come! i love this work, this calling and my loving and merciful Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ! I wish you all the best! and i say those things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

SPIDER ATTACK AND MORE WALKING (Week 46, Fairiew, Elder

WORD OF THE WEEK IN TAGOLOG- kapaki-pakinabang which means expedient.

So just when Elder and i think that things are gonna lean less toward mapping and more toward teaching, we seem to be way wrong! hahaha but it is all good because it is very important to the mission because the member records need to be updated and this will help those that are new to areas.

A little update on my peanut butter life...that really seems to be everything when i am with an american companion hahaha it is like a crazy obsession and honestly you have to enjoy the simple things.

Another update on my bug life. I finally put a mosquito net over my bed after almost eleven months of living in the philippines which is surrounded by mosquitos and all sorts of those creepy crawlers that you dont want to find around you while you are in bed. i am so glad i finally did because now i am not getting as bit...i think haha but now i know for sure that spiders or cockroaches arent crawling on me...or at least i hope they arent...anyway i feel safer. I honestly feel like when i slip in their im like in my own little cocoon or like a child in their own self-made fort blanket. that is all probably a too long and useless description but just for you guys to see what my life is like here hahaha it might be necessary. speaking of bugs in one day i got in a fight with a cockroach and i think he might of one... i cant remember if i got him. there was also another point when my companion and i were planning and he directs my attention above me in the corner right behind my back where there is this giant spider not far from me at all. can i tell you about how scary that was...of course i still had to take a picture but i knew i had to kill it before things got worse. but that is only the start because when i didnt expect the worse to happen...can you guess what happened? IT JUMPED AT ME!!!!! i cant remember if went past me or if i moved because of pure terror but it missed me and went over under my desk. the tables had completely turned and i was the victim. we chased after it for awhile...well the other Elder's in our house did because after everything i was honestly like the classic woman in cartoons or movies that always gets up on the chair when a mouse comes by and that is exactly what i did. the worst was when i was on the wall next to mine and my companions bed. eventually we slayed the beast. victory was ours.

In the week we did have some opportunities to teach which was nice. we helped and visited with some investigators, the Rxxxxx family, who were closed to getting baptized but the husband had broken a commandment so we are going to try and help them strengthen their relationship with God.

We also taught this investigator Ayyyyyy who cant be baptized until she is married. we retaught lesson one to her and tried helping her understand the importance of the restored Gospel in our lives.

we had some more lessons and it feels good to teach again and get back into testifying and helping people come to know the truth! i truly love this gospel and i am so very grateful for my Savior who understands me and every weakness of mine. I am also grateful for my father as yesterday was father's day and also for my Father in Heaven. I love you all!

Peanut Butter ...again? (Week 45, Fairview, Elder Arandia and Elder )

Looks like i am hooked back on peanut butter again. anyway hahaha things are doing great here in my new area. really the week was a long week of mapping again. i dont have too much to say but i hope i can still make it a good one.
Our house probably has a record breaking amount of cockroaches out of all the places i have lived in. its not too bad but lets put it this way. anyone from america goes bananas when they see even just one cockroach! i am just glad they arent flying around everywhere which they can do! count your blessings!
Elder Arandia left on friday so i know he is probably having so much fun being in the mtc even because he has already entered into the mission field! we celebrated his last night by eating chicken, rice (of course) and ice cream because who can celebrate without ice cream!
the hot showers have been so nice! -side note
On friday when we were trying to do mapping we got lead all the way in one direction and i think even walked out of our zone and then walked all the way back to where we started and people did not seem to know where the address was that we were trying to find! from the findings our legs have gotten so worked that everyday is leg day! you dont need P90x if you will go out, not know exactly where you are going and have people send you out on what feels like a wild goose chase!
Rxxxxyan got baptized on saturday and was so excited! i dont think i have seen any bigger reaction from someone being able to be baptized! it really has been something he has been working for for three years and i am glad that he is able to feel cleansed and new. at his baptism someone spoke about sacrificing to follow Jesus Christ and it reminded me of the rich man in the bible who was wanting to improve but his desires were not strong enough to fully invest himself and follow Jesus Christ by giving all he had to the poor and following Him. but it poses a good question that we need to ask of what lack i yet? what do i need to sacrifice to follow Jesus Christ or come unto Him. God loves us so much that if we ask that, He will reveal that to us, because according to our faith and desires, the secrets of God can be revealed unto us.
3 nephi 18: 20 And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you.
I love you all and i hope that you are all continually trying to come unto Christ!

Ice Cream, Shwarma and Hot Showers (Week 44, Fairview, Elder Arandia and Elder Bromley)

Hey everybody! I hope you are doing great! i know i am in my new area and i am just loving the spirit that Elder Bromley brings, he is always just smiling and loving life, it is amazing! Elder Arandia will be heading out this Friday on the MTC so after this week it will be only me and elder Bromley but we had a lot of fun this week!

One awesome thing is that this is the first time i have had hot water since the mtc in the shower! it is awesome! i think i have been forgetting how great it felt because i have totally settled with taking cold water bucket showers as not being too bad hahaha. the only problem is that there is not that good of water pressure in the shower that is upstairs that has hot water so sometimes it will turn off or wont work good hahaha that's always not fun.

Our toilet flusher also broke so if i ever want to flush we either have to open up the top and unplug the water inside so the toilet will flush or pour water into the bowl so clean water will enter and the rest will go out.

We also have so many cockroaches in our new house hahaha its so gross! but besides all of that i love being here hahaha actually those things are not too bad. it just makes for good experiences.

The amount of ice cream and shwarma that we have eaten is crazy! it has been so much because elder Bromley loves ice cream because he cant taste but the creamy texture is just the best. hahaha so far things are going good.

Now that i am in the city everything is a lot more compacted and we have such a crazy looking area. All three of us are new to the area because Elder Bromley just got here so we have been doing a lot of going around and even got lost on our first day when elder arandia and i got here! it was so much walking around.

I dont have too much to write about the work because we have been working on a project for mapping and putting members houses into GPS's but it has been consuming up all of our time. This week we are hoping to get things finished! and i am excited to be able to get back into focusing on teaching!

I hope you all are doing great! i love and miss you all!
